Who We Are

Sisters of Soul (S.O.S) Youth and Family Inc. was established in 1997 by Angela Beal a California Registered Nurse; as a 501 c (3) nonprofit organization. We promote family wellness and positive relationships for “at risk” and disadvantaged children and economically challenged families through counseling, personal development, education, performing arts, and recreational programs. Over the last decade we have provided support and services to over 20,000 youth and families in the Inland Empire region of Southern California and overseas.

How we help

SOS have supported and worked in conjunction with school districts,  colleges, faith based organizations and family service agencies to successfully carry out our mission. Our alliances and partnerships have allowed us to successfully provide  educational workshops, tutoring, conferences, performing arts, family camps, parenting and life skill retreats, food/clothing distribution and recreational programs. Some programs are held offsite where  we offer our volunteer services.

How we’re funded

We are here not for income, but for outcome

SOS is funded by individual donors, corporate sponsors, and county contracts to provide services and programs to children who are at-risk of child abuse, neglect and exploitation, parents, caregivers, academically disadvantaged and challenged families,  and adults who are  involved criminal court system, family law and more.
